چکیده

Genetic studies indicate that resistance to bacterial blight is different depending on the source of resistance may be determined by both major and minor genes (Mcelroy 1985, Musaana el al, 1993. ). RAPD markers obtained from PCR amplification of genomic DNA with random primers have been successfully used for tagging genes of interest in common bean and other crops. For seed, pod and leaf reactions to CBB resistance in common bean, I. 2 and 3 putative QTLs, which accounted for 18%. 25% and 35% of the variation in CBB resistance were identified by Jung et al(l993). Nodari et al(1993) reported four putative QTLs. which acounted for 75% of the variation in CBB resistance, were identified ba.sed on RFLP markers.

Resistance Gene Analog Polymorphism (RGAP) Markers Co-Localize with the Major QTL of Fusarium Head Blight (FHB) Resistance, Qfhs.ndsu-3BS in Wheat

Resistance gene analog polymorphism (RGAP) markers linked to Fusarium head blight resistance (FHB) and co-localize with Qfhs.ndsu-3BS were identified using F3 plants and F3:5 lines derived from a ‘Wangshuibai’ (resistant) / ‘Seri82’ (susceptible) cross. The mapping populations were genotyped using 50 degenerate primers designed based on the known R genes. Out of the 50 designed primer combinati...

تکرارپذیری برخی نشانگرهای مولکولی پیوسته با ژن مقاومت به ریزومانیا (Rz1) در ژنوتیپ های چغندرقند (Beta vulgaris L.)

Rhizomania disease is one of the most important diseases of sugar beet in Iran and many other parts of the world, and plays an essential role in decreasing sugar yield in fields. The best approach to control this disease is to use resistant varieties. For the involvement of resitance genes in breeding programs, tagging these genes by molecular markers is necessary. In this approach, some breedi...

Identification of Rafd Markers Linked to a Major Gene for Rust Resistance and Indeterminate Growth Habit Using Bulked Segregant Analysis in a Common Bean Cross

Rust, incited by Uromyces appendiculatus^ is a major disease in common bean {Phaseolus vulgaris L,). Plant growth habit is also an important trait. Indeterminate growth habit was first reported to be controlled by a single dominant gene (Fin) (Lamprecht, 1935). Molecular markers such as isozymes, RFLP, and RAPD, have been used to tag genes for many traits, particularly disease resistance in sev...

شناسایی نشانگرهای RAPD پیوسته به ژن نرعقیمی ژنتیکی در چغندر قند (Beta Vulgaris L.)

Genetic male sterility is controlled by one pair of ressesive allele (aa) in sugar beet. This trait is used in most breeding programes. The exsistance of the character in a line or population facilitates transfer of important trait to the breeding material (for example resistance to plant disease). Also, it is possible to increase genetic diversity of monogerm populations by using genetic ma...

Mapeamento de Genes de Resistência do Feijoeiro à Ferrugem, Antracnose e Mancha-Angular Usando Marcadores RAPD*

Mapping rust, anthracnose and angular leaf spot resistance genes in common bean using RAPD markers Molecular markers were used to study the organization of rust, anthracnose and angular leaf spot resistance genes in common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) Ouro Negro cultivar. A segregant population of 154 recombinant inbred lines (RIL ́s) from the crossing between Ouro Negro and Rudá cultivars was inoc...
